* Solid analytical skills and a strong business vision including experience with lean manufacturing process (Toyota approach), design for assembly, design for manufacturing, and manufacturing cost structure analysis. Higher grade levels require experience in project management, personnel leadership, and target costing processes.
* Ability to use and demonstrate statistical and problem solving tools is required. Ability to lead and train others in the target costing process is necessary.
* Tools and Techniques of ccOpex, DFMA©, and Cost modeling methodology are requirements and will be attained through completion of training following entry into this position.
* Other skills that contribute to the success of this position include: Technical trouble shooting & problem solving, creative capabilities, applied engineering principles, manufacturing technologies, drawing comprehension, technical writing ability and Target Costing process familiarity.
